Delete Your Account

App: Softpaw · Operator contact: long131005@gmail.com. This page explains how to permanently delete your Softpaw account and what is removed or retained. Two paths: in-app (when available) or email. Both aim for the same end state.

Option 1 — Delete In The App

1. Open Softpaw on your iPhone. 2. Go to Profile / Account settings. 3. Choose Delete Account (wording may match your app version). 4. Confirm the dialog. This path requires a signed-in Apple or Google account. If you never signed in and only used local data, deleting the app removes local data; there may be no cloud account on our servers.

Option 2 — Request By Email

Email long131005@gmail.com with subject “Delete my Softpaw account”. Include the email tied to your Apple or Google sign-in. We verify ownership and process requests within 30 days, usually faster.

What Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove from live systems within about 30 days (about 60 days including backup propagation), including where applicable: • Parent profile and auth-linked account records we control for the product • Household memberships you own, cat profiles, care logs, alarms, notes, and documents • Photos and widget images stored for your household • Typed AI care chat history associated with your account • Push tokens for your devices • Server-side entitlement markers we control (web Polar entitlement docs when present) Independent copies held by another household member may remain on their account until they delete their own data.

What May Be Retained

Limited records may be kept where needed for fraud prevention, tax/accounting, chargeback defense, or law: • Minimal auth / billing audit tombstones (e.g. event ids, timestamps) • Aggregated analytics not reasonably re-identifiable • Apple or Polar records they retain as payment processors under their policies
